We say about people with passion that
they “lose themselves” in their work.
Which really means, in another sense,
that they find themselves in their work.
( Marvin Bell, 2002 )
When you do things from your soul,
you feel a river moving in you, a joy.
( Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi )
My soul is from elsewhere,
I’m sure of that,
and I intend to end up there.
( Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi )
What you seek is seeking you.
( Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi )
You wander from room to room
Hunting for the diamond necklace
That is already around your neck!
( Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi )
And you ? When will you begin
that long journey into yourself ?
( Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi )
As soon as a man learns to
feed his soul instead of his ego,
he will be truly successful.
( Mobeen Hakeem )
We must be willing to let go of the life
we planned so as to have the life that is
waiting for us.
( Joseph Campbell )
Once in a while,
slow down from your fast pace of living
and try to embrace solitude.
In you solitude,
listen to the whispers of your soul, for
compassion always comes from the soul,
from holiness in the heart.
Return to your soul, polish it daily,
let it direct your life so that
you can choose the right path and
do your work with your whole heart.
That is what life is meant to be.
( Jason Ling )
心靈的呼喚 whispers of the soul,
「聆聽心靈的呼喚」,英語又稱為 listen to your heart,
Follow your bliss.
If you do follow your bliss
you put yourself on a kind of track
that has been there all the while,
waiting for you, and
the life that you ought to be living
is the one you are living.
When you can see that,
you begin to meet people
who are in the field of your bliss,
and they open the doors to you.
I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid,
and doors will open where
you didn’t know they were going to be.
( Joseph Campbell )
Follow your bliss
and the universe will open doors for you
where there were only walls.
( Joseph Campbell )
I believe in intuition and inspiration.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
For knowledge is limited,
whereas imagination embraces the entire world,
stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.
It is, strictly speaking,
a real factor in scientific research.
( Albert Einstein )
At times I feel certain I am right,
while not knowing the reason.
( Albert Einstein )
To make the right choices in life,
you have to get in touch with your soul.
To do this, you need to experience solitude,
which most people are afraid of,
because in the silence you hear the truth
and know the solutions.
( Deepak Chopra )
Learn to get in touch with the silence
within yourself, and know that everything
in life has purpose. There are no mistakes,
no coincidences, all events are blessings
given to us to learn from.
( Elisabeth Kubler-Ross )
Intuition is the intelligence of the heart
and the knowledge of the soul. It knows
instantly and constantly what can take
decades of experience for the mind to
logically sort out and understand.
Trust it, and the reason will follow in time.
( Doe Zantamata )
We are not human beings having
a spiritual experience.
We are spiritual beings having
a human experience.
( Teilhard de Chardin )
The heart is always clear about
what it knows and what it doesn’t know.
The heart understands humility.
On the other hand, the ego is proud.
The ego pretends to know what it doesn’t know.
When a person says he wants to follow his heart
he must first make sure that he is talking about
a heart which is not contaminated by his ego.
That is to say, a pure heart.
One can follow his heart and intuition
only after he has found his pure heart!

Since conscience resides in your soul,
if you are not sure that you have a soul,
and you never listen to its whispers,
then don’t follow your instinct because you
can only have animal instinct, ego instinct,
group instinct, although they can be regarded
as representing your unique individuality.
( Jason Ling )
The wise unearths his soul,
strives to become a better person, and
is able to go to bed each night with
integrity intact and his soul at peace.
